Who’s Brandon? White House Spox Claims ‘Unfamiliar’ With ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Chants
The White House has perfected its number one tactic: deny, deny, deny. What immigration crisis? What Americans in Afghanistan? While it is no laughing matter, the most recent denial is quite comical. White House spokesman Andrew Bates claims he was unfamiliar with the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant that is…everywhere.
From t-shirts to billboards and everything in between, “Let’s Go Brandon” signifying “F*** Joe Biden” is quite literally everywhere. Rappers have even secured two of the top three spots on the iTunes chart for their “Let’s Go Brandon” raps. Adele secured the number two spot in between the anti-Biden Hip-Hop chart-toppers.
But alas, Bates told the Washington Post he had “never heard of that chant” until the Post’s reporter had “explained it” to him. Who can blame Bates, he is probably taking as many personal ‘travel days’ as the president himself.
The Post reported, “Administration officials sought to downplay the phenomenon, and at least one claimed to be unfamiliar with the ‘Let’s go Brandon’ chant or its cruder cousin, though they are now chanted everywhere from football stadiums to concert arenas to local bars.”
As Breitbart points out, “Naturally, the Post blamed it all on Donald Trump for his ‘norm-breaking and vulgarity of the Trump era.’ However, the paper was alarmed that the chants are ‘far more vulgar and widespread.”
“The paper also tried to wave off the chants as examples of a mere ‘target of vilification’ being used to unite Republican opponents of Biden. However, the paper neglected to point out that the chants are not only occurring in deep red, Republican districts, but is being seen universally across the nation, even in places as blue as Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Boston, Massachusetts.”
On Monday, tens of thousands marched across the Brooklyn Bridge chanting “F*** Joe Biden” in opposition to, well, the President, as well as his vaccine mandates.
