UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Trump campaign to continue rallies as legal fights ensue

If there’s one word to describe President Trump, it’s tenacious. 

And though it’s currently unclear what the election outcome will be, it is clear that he won’t go down without a fight. 

The president’s campaign is even reportedly planning several campaign-style rallies where they will highlight ongoing legal efforts and even “brandish obituaries of people who supposedly voted” in an ongoing effort to challenge the results of the election, according to BizPacReview. 

The obituaries of the voters who supposedly cast ballots in the 2020 election – from the grave – will be used as “specific pieces of evidence” to expose voter fraud and corruption, Axios reported, citing remarks from four Trump advisers. 

Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said that the rallies, however, would not specifically involve the president himself.

“These would be grassroots rallies, as we’ve already seen pop up in a variety of states since Election Day, organic shows of support like the tractor and boat parades have been all year. There is no plan for the president to hold rallies,” he said in a statement to the New York Post.

The rallies will be held in critical battleground states – including Georgia, Arizona and Pennsylvania – where lawsuits have been filed and vote counting continues, despite the media conglomerate’s announcement of a Joe Biden victory.  

“We want to make sure we have an adequate supply of manpower on the ground for man-to-man combat,” one adviser told Axios. 

Rep. Doug Collins will be leading the Trump campaign’s vote recount efforts in Georgia, where 92 campaign staffers have also been relocated from Florida to assist. 

“Republicans stand by the ideal that every eligible voter should be able to vote legally and have it be counted,” Collins said. 

Kory Langhofer will serve as the president’s lead attorney in Arizona, where more than 70,000 ballots have still not been counted as of Sunday evening, BizPacReview reports. 

But that’s not all. 

Additional lawyers are being assembled across the nation as well, with the legal defense team thus far including 2020 campaign manager Bill Stepien, lawyer Justin Clark, and senior advisers Jason Miller and David Bossie.
