TERRELL: ‘Barack Obama is a dinosaur within the democratic party’

After facing backlash from radical progressives, Barack Obama walked back and tried to clarify his criticism of the “defund the police” narrative. 

“If we say defund the police, not just white folks but Michelle’s mom might say, ‘if I’m getting robbed, who am I going to call and is someone going to show up?’,” Obama said. 

Leo Terrell appeared on Hannity Wednesday, live from the nation’s capital, to discuss the former president’s comments. 

“Barack Obama is a dinosaur within the democratic party,” Terrell said. “He is wrestling with the word ‘defund the police,’” he added. 

“Defunding the police, according to the democrats, is to eliminate the police,” he added. 

Terrell urged that police protection is not an issue based on race, rather it’s an American issue. 

“The race issue, it’s not a question about Michelle’s mom and white people. Police protection is an American issue,” he said. “It’s not an issue based on race.” 

Terrell said Obama is trying to walk back his comments because he is out of step with the new, socialist democratic party. 

“And what he’s trying to do is walk it back because he’s out of step with the democratic party. They want to eliminate the police. Minnesota, L.A., the vice president-elect took away 150 million dollars, she supported it,” he said. “So the issue of defunding the police, that’s what the democrats want to do and Barack Obama is having a hard time with this new socialist democratic party,” he added. 

Terrell arrived in Washington D.C. Wednesday and said he will deliver one of his Leo 2.0 hats to President Trump.

“I’m in Washington D.C. at the Trump Hotel and I got the gift that you, Larry and I decided to give President Trump tomorrow. I’ll deliver this to him tomorrow.”
