‘RACISM, ANTI-BLACKNESS, ANTI-WOKENESS’: Joy Reid blasts America over close election
“It’s disappointing. I emerge from this disappointed.”
Does Joy Reid hate America? Seems like it. MSNBC’s Joy Reid besmirched the American name on Wednesday, declaring the country racist, anti-black and anti-woke. Why?
Because the race between President Trump and Joe Biden is too close for her comfort.
Reid and Rachel Maddow discussed how the potential of a “red wave” would be so disastrous for them, as they’ve spent five years reporting on alleged Russian collusion, Trump “undermining national security,” “impeachment,” “racism” and “Nazis.”
“I think even though we intellectually understand what America is at its base, right? That there is a great amount of racism, anti-blackness, anti-wokeness, this idea that political correctness is some sort of scheme to destroy white America, right?,” Reid said.
“Like, we know what this country is, but still part of you – I think part of your heart says, ‘You know what, maybe the country’s going to pay off all this pain,’” she continued.
“As the night went on, and I realized and it sunk in, okay that’s not happening. We are still who we thought, unfortunately. It’s disappointing. I emerge from this disappointed.”
This declaration came shortly after Reid used a racial slur against Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on live television in response to President Trump’s vowed to take outstanding ballot counts to the Supreme Court.
“Do any of you guys trust Uncle Clarence and Amy Coney Barrett and those guys to actually follow the letter of the law? No,” she said.

Your comments perfectly describe the racist, evil, hating democratic leaders who lied to their constituents and poisoned them in the same direction. The election did not unify America . I do not look at America as “White” America. We are a melting pot where all are welcomed . Each generation that arrived here thru Eliis Island , melted onto the culture working hard to be part of America. We had no welfare back then and everyone worked together to make our country succeed. Unfortunately, people don’t realize this, and think everything was free. Freedom is not free and we will be honoring our veterans ,past and present” for their service in preserving our freedom and our country. Our pledge says it all. “One nation, under God, indivisible , with liberty and justice for all”
There is no reference to any color or race. We are all Americans.
