McCarthy Yells At House Democrats For Refusing To Pass SCOTUS Security Bill
On Thursday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) yelled on the House floor as he called for the House to pass a bill that would improve police protection for Supreme Court Justices and their families just one day after a man was arrested after allegedly attempting to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“House Democrats are leaving. Today they want to leave for a long weekend than gave tomorrow back,” McCarthy said. “I spoke to the majority leader [Steny Hoyer (D-MD)] this morning. I told him nobody on this side would object [to] a unanimous consent. He could run that bill to the floor right now and send it to the president so we can protect the Supreme Court.”
“How many times do they have to be threatened? How many people have to be arrested with a gun outside their home? What would have happened had he not called 9-1-1? He didn’t just have a gun. He had zip ties. But somehow you want to leave. This bill could be on the president’s desk right now,” McCarthy added.
The bill McCarthy referenced would have provided the nine justices with security protection similar to the protection provided to members of the legislative and executive branches. The bipartisan bill — sponsored by Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) —passed the Senate unanimously but was blocked by House Democrats last month.
On Wednesday, Nicholas John Roske was arrested outside Justice Kavanaugh’s home and was charged with “Attempts to kidnap or murder, or threatens to assault, kidnap or murder a United States Judge, to wit: a current Justice of the United States Supreme Court.”
According to FBI special agent Ian Montijo, Roske intended to kill Kavanaugh and then commit suicide.
“Roske then told the detective that he was upset about the leak of a recent Supreme Court draft decision regarding the right to abortion as well as the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas,” Montijo wrote in the criminal complaint. “Roske indicated that the Justice that he intended to kill would side with Second Amendment decisions that would loosen gun control laws.”
“Roske stated that he began thinking about how to give his life a purpose and decided that he would kill the Supreme Court Justice after finding the Justice’s Montgomery County address on the Internet. Roske further indicated that he had purchased the Glock pistol and the other items for the purpose of breaking into the Justice’s residence and killing the Justice as well as himself,” Montijo added.

I guarantee you if there were more Dem-friendly justices on the Supreme Court, they would do something about it but since it’s mostly conservative justices, the Dems would be happy in facilitating (by not providing protection) the assassination of any conservative justice so they can appoint a Dem friendly justice to take his place! They make a big stink about Jan. 6 and talk about beefing up security for themselves but not for our Supreme Court justices? That’s nuts! Why isn’t Biden being arrested and tried for treason for allowing the U.S. to be invaded by people from other countries (Mexico and South America) to take control of our country, and Biden stealing our money to give away to the criminals he allows to come into our country illegally. This is treasonous! Why is Biden not being impeached for this dereliction of duty and mismanaging our tax dollars, and not upholding our laws?!?! He keeps trying to blame Russia for everything but it’s his own policy decisions that are causing all the collapse in our country, inflation, then recession and high gas prices. Remember, Biden is the one who shut down the pipeline the first day he got in office. He carelessly rescinded almost everything that Trump did to make this country thrive, just out of spite because he hated Trump, rather than thinking things through first. All this downturn started on Biden’s first day in office. Long before Russia went into Ukraine! But the mainstream liberal brainwashing media don’t want you to know the truth. They just keep pounding away at us with Biden’s lame excuses by repeating it so much that we accept it as truth. Take responsibility for your screw-ups Biden! Why aren’t any of our representatives even saying anything about removing Biden from office? He literally is betraying the U.S. Read up on the WHO World Health Organization taking control of our healthcare and forcing us to be in a One World Order healthcare group as the Dems are pushing us into this One World order crap and taking out identity away. It’s bad enough that Obama with Biden sold us out and took away our healthcare and forced us onto government-controlled healthcare that is downgraded coverage at exorbitant pricing nearly a $1000 mo. for a single adult. How is this better than the free market healthcare we had before Obama and Biden took away our freedom of healthcare?!! What about the millions of U.S. hundred dollar bills on pallets and the weapons and tanks Biden left behind in Afghanistan for the Taliban (our enemy) to have and use against us later down the pike?!! To pull out without a plan first put in place is total irresponsibility of this administration. There was plenty of chatter ahead of time to assume that the Afgahns would not stay in control and run like cowards. They got too use to us doing everything for them the past two decades, why would any intelligent person think they would take care of themselves if we left? There should be a plan B and C in case things go differently but Biden and his administration didn’t think ahead.
