Maxine Waters Requested Police Escort To Anti-Police Riots
Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters requested an armed police escort to Minneapolis over the weekend, where she attended anti-police riots and called for violent activists to “get more confrontational” and “stay in the streets,” according to documents obtained by Townhall.
The document published by Townhall lists the “requesting organization” as the US Capitol Police and the “name of the primary protectee” as Maxine Waters. The document lists “Police escort In & Out” and a “Special Mobile Lounge” as “Special Requests” made for the congresswoman.
“Waters flew from Dulles International Airport to Minnesota-St. Paul International Airport on Saturday, April 17, just days ahead of a verdict in the George Floyd, Officer Derek Chauvin trial,” Townhall reported. “That night, Waters went to meet with protestors and demanded a guilty verdict for Chauvin ‘or else.’”
“If nothing does not happen then we have to not only stay in the streets but we have to fight for justice,” Waters told the crowd after they were done chanting “No good cops in a racist system!” “F–K your curfew!” and “No justice, no peace!”
“I am very hopeful and I hope that we are going to get a verdict that is guilty, guilty, guilty and if we don’t, we cannot go away,” Waters added.
Hours after her speech, two Minnesota National Guard members were injured in a drive-by shooting.

Chauvin isn’t charged with 1st degree murder. I’m doubtful the state will meet burden for 2nd/3rd degree murder.
Waters sets impossible standard and calls for “confrontation” if it isn’t met.

Today I heard the Republicans only tried to censure Maxine Waters. What the heck is the matter with these people? I know it didn’t go anywhere but why weren’t they trying to Impeach her? I would hope after all the underhanded things the Democrats have done plus how they slander people and ruin others financially that we would finally see a party with backbone. They are still the pitiful group they’ve always been with only a few exceptions. I think they support the Democrats over the people.
