Shapley made his comments during an exclusive interview with CBS News chief investigative correspondent Jim Axelrod.

“When I saw the egregiousness of some of these things, it no longer became a choice for me,” he said. “It’s not something that I want to do. It’s something I feel like I have to do.”

Shapley’s comments come shortly after House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer released evidence in the form of bank records showing that “the Biden family, their associates, and their companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals and their companies… Chinese nationals affiliated with the Bidens created limited liability companies in the US and then, in a short time, transferred their interests to a Chinese company that sent money to the Biden.”
