Georgia state Rep. Vernon Jones announces he’s joining GOP after fighting ‘demon democrats’
“Today, I’m coming home, I’m coming home to the Grand Old Party.”
Georgia state Rep. Vernon Jones announced Wednesday that he will be “coming home” to the Republican party.
A former Democrat representing the 91st district in Georgia, Jones made the remarks during the pro-Trump demonstration organized by Women for America First in Washington D.C.
Jones caused a ruckus last year when he decided to resign from his position in the state’s House of Representatives and endorse Trump last year – which he later flip-flopped – but did not plan to leave the democratic party, Fox News reports.
Oh how things have changed.
“I’ve been thinking a lot. I’m ready to go home,” he said. “I’m ready to go home to the party of Lincoln. I’m ready to go home to the party of Frederick Douglass. I’m ready to go home to the party of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott,” he continued.
“Today, I’m coming home, I’m coming home to the Grand Old Party,” he added. “I am officially joining the Republican Party,” he declared as the crowd exploded in applause.
Jones thanked Mike Lindell for influencing his decision, saying that Lindell had given him courage through all his “trials and tribulations fighting those demon Democrats.”
“I want to make clear about one thing. Donald Trump has just begun. I’m a part of his team. And we’re going to take back this country,” he urged.
In a tweet, he expressed that he has what it takes to fight for the republican party.
“Now more than ever, the Republican party is in desperate need of leaders that know how to fight,” he said. “I know how to fight.”

Why is what happened at the Capital any different than what happed in
Portland, Seattle, et.ct., with prominent Democrats (like AOC AND NANCY PELOSI praising the rioting.. it’s not…so they should be impeached as well.

We love you, We need a strong leader in the GOP. We can put you in as Senate Majority or Speaker of the House . Soon about 75% of all the US government official’s will be arrested for Treason and go away forever. Trump will be President for aleast 4 more years, maybe 8 as the constitution will followed not ignored.
