Fox News obtained an internal webpage of the Federal Reserve which has instructed employees to adopt “bias-free language.” Except bias, especially these days, is very subjective. The Federal Reserve believes terms like “Founding Fathers” is a biased phrase that must be eliminated.

“The Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors issued the guidance for all employees nationwide on April 29, a former Fed staffer with knowledge of the matter told Fox News.” The webpage guidance states:

“Bias-free language recognizes diversity and avoids stereotyping, demeaning, or excluding people on the basis of gender, race, ethnic group, religion, age, ability/disability, or sexual orientation.”

It continued, “try to avoid words and phrases that may be considered offensive, pejorative, or prejudiced (whether consciously or unconsciously), as these can distract your audience from the ideas/information you’re trying to convey.”

A list of “biased terms” is included within the guidance webpage. Included as terms to avoid are “blacklist,” “grandfathered,” and “Founding Fathers” and employees instead are instructed to use terms like “denied,” “legacy,” and “Founders” instead.

The terms “whitelisted,” “manpower,” “manmade,” and “singular generic pronouns” – such as “he,” “she,” “his,” and “hers” should be replaced with “bias-free” alternatives such as “allowed,” “artificial,” and pronouns such as “they,” “their” and “theirs.”

Out of all the English words in the dictionary, particularly ones that relate to “stereotyping, demeaning, or excluding people on the basis of gender, race, ethnic group, religion, age, ability/disability, or sexual orientation” the Federal Reserve’s list seems to miss the mark by a longshot. Fox News reports that “in a statement, a Federal Reserve spokesman said: ‘The Federal Reserve has no language directives for employees.”

Since when does the Federal Reserve have the authority to dictate speech in this country? It all goes back to the leadership and what their mindset dictates. These idiots are not Americans.
