Fauci Earned More than Presidents, Four Star Generals in 2020 and Set to Receive Largest Federal Retirement in History
Dr. Anthony Fauci is set to get the largest retirement package in federal government history. In 2020 Fauci made $434,312 which is more than the President and all four-star generals. Additionally, if the 81-year old retired today, he would continue to earn $350,000 per year on retirement and pension and benefits would increase with cost-of-living adjustments, reports Forbes.
Fauci has served 55 years as a federal employee, and since 1984 has been the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAIS) at the National Institute of Health. It seems he has no plans of retiring or slowing down soon.
“I’m going to keep doing that until this COVID-19 outbreak is in the rearview mirror, regardless of what anybody says about me, or wants to lie and create crazy fabrications because of political motivations,” Fauci told CBS’ Face the Nation last month.
The Drill Down with Peter Schweizer writes about the divisive political figure that Fauci has become:
Fauci has been an incredibly divisive character, with Democrats heralding him as savior and Republicans labeling him a power-hungry narcissist.
“I’m a Fauci groupie. I’m a thrice-vaccinated, mask adherent. I buy KN95 masks by the, you know, caseload. They’re in every pocket. I wear them everywhere except when I sit down,” says MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace.
But not everyone is so hot on Fauci…
“I would venture to say that thousands of people die in our country every month now because [Fauci’s] deemphasized the idea that there are therapeutics,” says Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).
“Dr. Fauci, I think, is the most dangerous bureaucrat in the history of the country. […] I don’t think anyone has hurt science, has hurt the credibility of the CDC, has hurt the credibility of doctors, more than Dr. Fauci because throughout this pandemic, he’s been dishonest,” says Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
“I didn’t create political divisiveness,” Fauci says. “And that’s the thing we’re dealing with. We’re dealing with the uncomfortable but real element of political divisiveness at a time when we are in the middle of a war against a virus.”
If we’re at war, Tony, you’re one of the worst generals we’ve ever seen —certainly undeserving of the largest federal retirement package in history.

Horse Apples. Federal Retirement pay should be capped at 100K for the high and mighty in the government food chain.

I think he should get a good retirement package. 3 meals a day, Bed and board, calm relaxation with all his new friends. You know, the other inmates.

Hey dummy. KN95 masks are for construction-type jobs. You need N95. And you need to make sure they’re not from China. The American-made N95’s are about $2 a day. If you’ve got the extra $120/mo, go for it. Remember when you wear them, YOU’RE protected, so it’s no concern of yours to berate others.
