DeSantis Warns of Consequences for Companies’ ‘Wokeness’ Pandering to Dems Misleading Voting Laws Rhetoric
Major League Baseball moved the All-Star game from Atlanta, Georgia because of their new voting laws to Denver, Colorado, where they have virtually the same laws the MLB pretended to so valiantly stand up against. The nonsensical behavior doesn’t end there.
Hundreds of major companies and corporate leaders have publicly expressed opposition to new voting laws, despite likely having zero idea of details in current laws versus proposed laws. Just last week, hundreds of companies signed a letter opposing “discriminatory legislation” claiming it makes it harder for individuals to vote.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with host Maria Bartiromo where he addressed the new movement by corporations and hinted that some retaliation could be expected.
“I guess they have the right to do what they want, but if you’re gonna stick your beak into issues that don’t directly concern you, then I think elected officials are then gonna stick their beak into issues that may not concern them,” said DeSantis when asked about businesses protesting against Georgia’s recently passed laws.
DeSantis called out the vulnerability when it comes to companies attempting to legislate morality. “What about all the other jurisdictions that you’re in that have, quote, ‘more restrictive laws’ added DeSantis. “What about the fact that you’re doing business with the Communist Party of China, the fact that you’ve done business with the Castro regime in Cuba?” the governor questioned.
Then came DeSantis’ warning that “corporate America, by trying to genuflect to this wokeness…they’re going to tie themselves in knots trying to please the extreme left.” Companies have fallen prey to the claims by Democrats and President Joe Biden himself that the new Georgia law is an update on Jim Crow laws designed to prevent African Americans from voting.

I have always been a supporter of the St Louis Cardinals. My wife and I normally attend at least two games each year. This year because of the MLB All Star game move, we will not attend any games. More than one can play their game. These corporate clowns need to remember 75 million people voted for Trump. The Georgia voting laws did nothing to restrict voting for anyone. It did get dead people off the rolls who vote Democrat during elections.

AMEN TO THAT!! Brother Biden will stand for whatever his democratic politicians in the White House tells him to do. We need voter ID in every state to keep a fair and legal election.
Florida Governor, Georgia Governor and every Governor in every state with Voter ID laws need to be praised. MLB should be ashamed for moving the All Starr games out of Georgia. Taking away millions and setting the stage for many businesses to suffer because of the decision that was made. I do not recognize our country anymore and this is just the beginning!
