Democrat Lawmakers Run When Questioned On Rising Crime Rates
This week, Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell questioned Republican and Democrat lawmakers in Washington, D.C., over the rising crime rates across the country.
Republicans gave Caldwell various responses to the issue, but when he questioned Democrats – many of them ran.
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), for example, refused to talk because he claimed that he was “in a rush right now.”
“We just want to talk about the crisis that is impacting our country with crime across the nation,” Caldwell said as Nadler rushed to the elevator.
“I can’t do it now,” Nadler claimed.
“Congressman Nadler, can we set up a meeting with your office and have a discussion?” Caldwell asked.
“Uh,” Nadler responded. “Maybe. I’m going to be pretty busy.”

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) similarly ran away rather than answer Caldwell’s questions.
“Senator, any reaction to the crime crisis in America?” Caldwell asked. “Crime is up, sir. There’s a crisis. You have any reaction? You’re a leader, I would think that you would have a reaction to what’s going on in the country.”
“Thank you,” Schumer responded as he hurried into a vehicle.
