CDC Director Says ‘Vax Pass’ Could ‘Be a Path Forward’ in U.S.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky said that the United States may be following in the footsteps of some European countries and implement some sort of vaccine health pass to prove vaccination status.
During an interview on CNN, Walensky was asked if the CDC would consider adopting European-style cards such as what is already underway in France and Italy, in the United States. “I think some communities are doing that and that may very well be a path forward” she replied.
The vaccination cards are used to allow admission to places such as bars, restaurants, clubs or sporting events. Thousands of protesters have marched the streets in opposition to the ‘vax-pass’ mandates.
The health passes require either proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test within the last 48 hours to enter a majority of public buildings. Walensky also discussed the CDC’s mask guidance reversal, suggesting even vaccinated individuals wear masks in areas with high infection rates.
“In some fully vaccinated venues, if they are unmasked, and there are a few people who are transmitting there as a fully vaccinated person, it is possible to pick up disease in those settings. We’ve seen that in some of our outbreak investigations this summer. Which is why overall it is so very critical to get the huge amount of disease in these areas down,” Walensky stated.
In addition, Walensky said of rising cases, “this is a situation that has been created by transmission of the delta virus among people who are unvaccinated. This is not about who needs to take responsibility…We put this guidance out because the science demonstrates that if you are vaccinated you could potentially give the disease to someone else and that was the motivation for this,” she said.

Nobody has YET to explain HOW a vaxxed person can give to non vaxxed….and why get vaxx then. Also, the mask.. why do vaxx need to wear mask if vaxx works..
And finally- where will it end or do they really want it to?? I know alot of people looking at all this and saying– no way period.. have NO trust.
Then if they start the “no vaxx no dining and everything else”.. we are talking a huge problem.. will arrrests be next? THIS IS NOT AMERICA…

“motivation”?, and you could potentially give the disease to someone else. Sure, such as illegals who have the “disease” allowed into the country, processed and released into hotels, then distributed throughout the 48 states. Just wondering if the CDC has had a conversation with Washington concerning the 1.2 million (and counting ) released into our communities. It’s pure insanity.

I would like to know what happens to the HEPA rule? I think my medical records should be shared only with necessary physicians. I do not think having a vax pass is necessary to enter a public place. These Dems are working on a one world government, and are working on having a cashless society, as some stores are now refusing to take cash, blaming it on a coin shortage! Ever hear the expression, never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing? The government is keeping you sidetracked with all this mess, in order to keep you from seeing what is really going on.
