Earlier this month Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates and wife Melinda Gates released a statement announcing their divorce. Since then, emerging information as to the cause of the divorce continues to pour out, and boy are we learning a lot about Mr. Gates.

Amongst the most shocking is the Microsoft co-founder’s relationship with the infamous and vile sexual predator, Jeffrey Epstein. The Daily Beast reports Gates went to gatherings at Epstein’s $77 million New York townhouse to “escape from what he told Epstein was a ‘toxic’ marriage, a topic both men found humorous, a person who attended the meetings told The Daily Beast.”

The friendship reportedly brought the two together dozens of times from 2011-2014 and Gates apparently gave Epstein a little friendly advice as well. He reportedly “encouraged Epstein to rehabilitate his image in the media following his 2008 guilty plea for soliciting a minor for prostitution, and discussed Epstein becoming involved with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.”

There were also affairs. Microsoft Spokesman Frank Shaw said, “Microsoft received a concern in the latter half of 2019 that Bill Gates sought to initiate an intimate relationship with a company employee in the year 2000” and “ a committee of the Board reviewed the concern, aided by an outside law firm to conduct a thorough investigation. Throughout the investigation, Microsoft provided extensive support to the employee who raised the concern.”

A spokeswoman for Mr. Gates said, “there was an affair almost 20 years ago which ended amicably” and that Mr. Gates’ “decision to transition off the board was in no way related to this matter. In fact, he had expressed an interest in spending more time on his philanthropy starting several years earlier.”

On Sunday, The New York Times reported Gates had developed “a reputation for questionable conduct in work-related settings.” People with “direct knowledge of his behavior” said Gates made “overtures” to women who worked for him at Microsoft and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
