Biden: Three Objects Shot Down By U.S. Were Not Chinese, ‘Most Likely’ Privately Owned

Joe Biden

On Thursday, Democrat President Joe Biden announced that the three aerial objects he ordered to be shot down after the military shot down the Chinese spy balloon were not related to China and were “most likely” privately owned balloons being used for research, like studying weather.

“We don’t know yet exactly what these three objects were, but nothing right now suggests they were related to China’s spy balloon program or that they were surveillance vehicles from any other country,” he said.

“These three objects were most likely balloons tied to private companies, recreation, or research institutions studying weather or conducting other scientific research,” Biden added.

In late January, a Chinese spy balloon was detected entering U.S. airspace. After the spy balloon traversed the entirety of the United States, which took over a week while Biden was aware the balloon was a Chinese spy balloon, the president finally ordered it to be shot down over waters near South Carolina.

Following backlash for allowing the confirmed Chinese spy balloon to cross the country, Biden hastily ordered three other aerial objects to be shot down after they were detected and before his administration had determined what they were.

The debacle is reminiscent of the Biden administration’s disastrous handling of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, which resulted in the State Department’s inspector general to launch a series of investigations.

The withdrawal included leaving an unknown number of Americans and American allies stranded in the terrorist-controlled country, and the Biden administration’s retaliatory drone strike after anISIS-K terrorist killed 13 U.S. servicemembers in a suicide bombing at Bagram airport in Afghanistan.

The Biden administration’s drone strike targeted a suspected ISIS member, but,  the New York Times reported, the suspect was actually “Zemari Ahmadi, a longtime worker for a U.S. aid group.” The decision resulted in the Biden administration’s attack killing 10 civilians, including 7 children, – and zero terrorists. The Biden administration originally falsely claimed that that there were no civilian casualties.
