Biden Says He Has ‘No Regrets’ About Mishandling Classified Documents

On Thursday, Democrat President Joe Biden responded to the investigation into him for his mishandling of classified documents, saying that he has “no regrets” about his actions.

Biden’s comments came in response to a reporter, who he attacked for just asking the question by saying that it “quite frankly bugs” him that the question was asked.

“Mr. President, may I ask you a question about the classified documents, sir?  Do you have any regret — regret, sir?” the reporter asked.

“I will answer the question, but here’s the deal: You know, what quite frankly bugs me is that we have a serious problem here we’re talking about.  We’re talking about what’s going on.  And the American people don’t quite understand why you don’t ask me questions about that,” Biden snapped.

After being answered the question again, Biden said he has “no regrets” about his actions.

“We’re fully cooperating, looking forward to getting this resolved quickly,” Biden said. “I think you’re gonna find there’s nothing there. I have no regrets. I’m following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do — that’s exactly what we’re doing. There’s no there, there.”

On November 2, just days before the midterm elections, lawyers for Biden found a set of about 10 classified documents from the Obama-Biden administration in a locked closet in offices of the Biden Penn Center in Washington, an office Biden began working at occasionally in 2017 after his vice presidency ended.

On December 20, Biden’s lawyers found additional classified documents in other unsecure places like the president’s garage and his private library during an inspection of his home in Wilmington, Delaware.

The discovery of any classified documents was not revealed to the public until CBS News released a report on November’s discovery of classified documents on January 9, more than two months later. The White House confirmed the reporte, but didn’t mention the additional classified documents found in December.

More sets of classified documents have continued to be found in various unsecure places in Biden’s possession. The mishandling of the classified documents has led to Attorney General Merrick Garland appointing a special council to investigate the incident.
