Biden On Defunding The Police: Do Republicans Think We’re Sucking Blood Out Of Kids?
President Biden demonstrated his relationship with reality on Thursday after attempting to rebut a reporter who questioned the administration’s claims on Republicans being the ones advocating for defunding the police.
“I’m the Democratic Party; I am president. So is the Speaker of the House and so is the, the Majority Leader,” Biden claimed. “We are not defunding the police.”
“Okay,” a reporter responded. “And are there people who — in the Democratic Party, who want to defund the police?”
“Are there people in the Republican Party who think we’re sucking the blood out of kids?” Biden responded.
Biden’s response was in support of his administration’s claim that Republicans were the ones who wanted to defund the police, a claim that earned “Three Pinocchios” from the Washington Post.
The Washington Post reported, “Although Republicans all opposed Biden’s coronavirus relief package, no one voted to cut, or defund, anything. Rather, Democrats proposed $350 billion in emergency funds for state and local governments, and Republicans voted against those extra funds. That’s not a reduction.”
Contradicting the Biden administration’s claim, numerous Democrats have actually defunded their city’s police departments. In New York City, for example, Democrats removed $1 billion from the New York Police Department’s budget, which was criticized by other Democrats for not being enough. Further, in Los Angeles, Democrats cut the Los Angeles Police Department’s budget by $150 million, and the move was praised by Vice President Kamala Harris.

Sucking the blood out of children? Biden’s dementia is really noticeable. He can’t string 2 coherent sentences together. He can’t even focus enough to get to the end of 1 sentence without loosing his train of thought, stuttering and stammering then changing his answer in mid-sentence. He’s mentally and physically unfit for office.
