AZ Governor Sending National Guard Troops to Border: If White House Won’t ‘Do Anything, We Will’
Governor Doug Ducey said he is sending 250 National Guard troops to the state’s southern border
Maybe all the way from Washington, D.C. where President Joe Biden and vice president Kamala Harris reside, the southern border doesn’t seem to be so bad. But for those who are actually paying attention to the media and particularly those whose livelihoods reside in border states, the scenario is catastrophic.
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey said he is sending 250 National Guard troops to the state’s southern border due to the uncontrollable migrant surge. Frankly stated, “If this administration isn’t going to do anything, then we will,” said Ducey.
The Associated Press reports Ducey’s announcement “came the day Customs and Border Protection held an open house at a new tent-like migrant processing center in the border community of Yuma. It is the first of two planned in Arizona to help agents process and temporarily shelter a growing number of asylum seekers arriving at the border. A similar structure is opening later this month in Tucson.”
Ducey has publicly chastised President Biden’s immigration policies and says the situation at the border is a “crisis.” The liberal-leaning American Civil Liberties Union in Arizona said Ducey’s actions “do nothing more than further militarize our border communities and stoke unnecessary and unjustified fear.”
U.S. Representative from Arizona and Democrat, Raul Grijalva is coming to his party’s aid attempting to convince others the “deployment was purely political and will do nothing to resolve backlogs, improve the care of unaccompanied minors or help border communities.”
Despite liberal illogic, the governor’s office announced $25 million will initially be set aside to help local and state law enforcement officers such as state troopers. Also, “guard members could help with medical operations at detention centers, install and maintain border cameras, collect data from public safety cameras and analyze satellite imagery for current smuggling trends.” That sounds like actual solutions and not just partisan politics and fighting.
The Associated Press reports “officials in small Arizona border towns including Yuma, Ajo and Gila Bend have called on the federal government to help them manage small groups of asylum seekers being suddenly released into their communities by CBP officials who say they don’t have the capacity to hold them.”
“The towns don’t have the resources to transport the migrants to larger cities where they can get temporary shelter and logistical help reuniting with relatives elsewhere in the U.S.” added the Associated Press.

JUST SEND THE ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS BACK TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM. Greet them with bullets, hand grenades, alligators/crocodiles/pirhana in the river, whatever will work. Oh, I know, how about a PRESIDENT that actually gives a shit about America and its citizens!
