ACLU: 2nd Amendment Racist, Gun Rights Used to ‘Inflame White Racial Anxiety’
This week the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) did what liberals do best: demand something is ‘racist’ to get people to blindly be against it. The ACLU tweeted their own article titled ‘Do Black Americans Have the Right to Bear Arms?’ with the caption, “Racism is foundational to the Second Amendment and its inclusion in the Bill of Rights.”
Foundational to the Second Amendment? The ACLU claims “Anti-Blackness determined the inclusion of the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights, and has informed the unequal and racist application of gun laws.”
Gun laws are racist, too? Or just the application of them? So much racism, it’s hard to keep up. “The vigilantism of widespread gun ownership puts Black Americans in an especially vulnerable position given the brutality and human cost of discriminatory policing” writes the ACLU.
The article also claims that “throughout the history of this country, the rhetoric of gun rights has been selectively manipulated and utilized to inflame white racial anxiety, and to frame Blackness as an inherent threat.”
Founder of Black Guns Matter Maj Toure told the Daily Caller News Foundation such rhetoric is solely a tactic to “brainwash black people into believing that having the means to defend themselves is nefarious.” Toure said “I think gun control is racist, not the Second Amendment.”
The “Second Amendment is designed to put the government on watch” , added Toure. “The First Amendment says you can say what you want, and the Second Amendment says you can defend what the f**k you just said. I don’t think ‘anti-blackness’ played a part in the framing,”
The Second Amendment is particularly personal to Toure. “I had to use a firearm to defend myself because I have seen the other side most people won’t. I don’t see the Second Amendment as racist. I was given that right by God and I exercised that right. The Second Amendment gave me that right as well. I had that right to defend myself. Without the Second Amendment, without God, my son and I would not be here today. That isn’t ‘anti-blackness.”

At the local gun store / firing range I go to, I would say 50% of the clientele base is black. Women, men of all colors and background go to buy, work, and shoot at this range. Don’t know what planets these idiots live on, but certainly they have no clue about legal personal firearms.

Guns don’t ask their handler what race is he/she. Most of gun assaults and homicides I watch on TV are in the hands of born criminals, no matter their race. Where did they got their arms?, 99% of the time was an illegal transaction. If the guns are taken away from legal and authorized owners, what procedure is going to be used for illegal owners?

2nd amendment right are racist? To Blacks, everything is racist including the constitution and the bill of rights. Those ghetto vermin animals would like nothing better than to see ‘white guys’ surrender their guns so Blacks could rob them easier. Their criminals, born and raised. For me, I’m locked and loaded. Is the ‘castle doctrine’ racist? Step onto my property with intent to harm and find out.

Its an all out assault to disarm the citizens (especially black citizens) and weaken the Constitution. The liberal leftist socialist have now infiltrated the aclu.
In 250 years the only party that has been consistently against blacks and minorities has been the democrats. With their history with laws, wars, and promises against blacks they still havent done anything for blacks but deliver misery. They can say they switched places with Republicans, but they can’t act it. Keep believing, if it was up to them, blacks would still be slaves. Don’t give up what protects you, protect the 2nd Amendment
