2023 Illegal Immigration Already About To Set New Annual Record As Biden’s Border Crisis Continues
Illegal immigration in fiscal year 2023 (FY 2023) is on track to set a new annual record in August as the illegal immigration crisis that originated under President Biden’s administration continues.
Border officials encountered 245,286 migrants attempting to illegally cross the border in July, bringing the total so far in FY 2023 up to 2,556,164.
The numbers continue the pattern of the unprecedented illegal immigration crisis that began under Biden.
Every year since Biden entered office, illegal immigration has set a new record high. In fiscal year 2021, a record 1,956,519 migrants attempted to illegally cross the U.S. border. That record was broken in fiscal year 2022, when 2,796,582 migrants were encountered attempting to illegally cross the U.S. border.
In comparison, just 646,822 migrants were encountered attempting to illegally cross the U.S. border during former President Trump’s last year in office.
